What’s Behind Stableford’s Culture?

“It’s not a job, it’s an adventure.” This is how I often refer to working at Stableford. Not in the sense of physical adventure and “saving the day,” but in the sense that the technology and opportunities are constantly changing, and that presents a fun challenge that makes each day interesting.

Stableford's Andy Brinkman and Nathan Faldmo walking and discussing their combined investment experience

My decades as a commodity exchanges trader, risk manager, and portfolio manager for high net worth families taught me what was really important when it came to building my own investment firm. First and foremost, I insist that the group comes to work ready to go. But it’s the camaraderie and strong desire to work together for our clients that makes it such a positive environment. The group itself is made up of leaders with diverse backgrounds. Portfolio managers. Analysts. Brokers. Institutional investor technician. A Silicon Valley entrepreneur. Tax specialist. Certified financial planners. Their unique backgrounds and perspectives bring an unparalleled pod approach to each client’s strategy.

“We all have our different personalities,” says Nathan Faldmo, Director of Advisory Services, “but we hold each other accountable.” The group relies on knowing each person’s strengths and how to get the most out of each other.

Together, our leadership offers clients Integrated Advisory Services: financial counseling, tax planning, and asset management all at one firm with no middleman. This increases direct engagement, communication, and education with our clients.
